DrupalCon Nara is supported by the Linux Australia Council. For international guests, tickets can be purchased in Australian Dollars. Japanese residents can optionally purchase their tickets in Japanese Yen.

Grants & Discounts
  • Student discount available until the 12 November 2025 (subject to verification of full-time student ID).
  • A Scholarship Program will be announced in the near future.
  • Complimentary tickets for speakers, volunteers, and sponsors will be sent out via email. Please note that not all volunteer roles are eligible for a free ticket.
  • Speakers who purchase a ticket before finding out if their session was accepted can apply to have the cost of the ticket refunded. Only one speaker ticket is available per session (ie, panelists and co-presenters will need to purchase their own tickets).
  • Redemption and discount codes for volunteers and speakers cannot be transferred.

All prices are in Australian Dollars ($) or Japanese Yen (Â¥). Visit www.xe.com for current exchange rates. Japanese residents can purchase their tickets in Yen, while all international guests must purchase their tickets in Australian Dollars.

We may charge an administration fee to transfer or cancel your booking.

Booking Fees

Each DrupalCon Nara 2025 ticket incurs a booking fee from the Humantix booking platform.

During the booking process you might notice the Booking Fee crossed out, and ‘computer science classes’, ‘books for schools’, ‘literacy skills’, ‘health education’ or another equivalent option appears next to the fee price. This is how Humantix intends to spend your booking fee - by giving back. 

Humanitix started as a pact between their founders, Adam and Josh, to escape the corporate world and do something meaningful. Like many social entrepreneurs, they looked for industries with inefficiencies that could be disrupted - for good! Enter: tickets! Event ticketing is notoriously frustrating for hosts and guests alike and, well, everyone hates booking fees. 

Fast forward to today and Humanitix has transformed over $10.5M of those annoying booking fees into education, healthcare and more for humans all over the world.

Conditions

Transfers

If you’ve booked for an event where your name has been required, but can’t attend, it’s fine for another person to attend in your place as long as you let us know beforehand.

The cut off date to transfer your ticket is Monday 10 December 2025.

Please notify us in writing, including the name, email, job title, company name, shirt size and any special dietary requirements of the replacement delegate to events@drupalasia.org.

Cancellations & Refunds

Should you wish to cancel your booking, no refund will be available, unless applied at our discretion.

Changes to Content, Postponement & Event Cancellation

In the unlikely event of cancellation of this event, our liability is limited to the refund of your booking fee.

We may alter the times, dates, and content of this event without notice to you at any time.

While we are sorry if this causes inconvenience. We will not be liable for any loss or damages arising from such changes.
