Project lead Dries Buytaert presented the Driesnote at DrupalCon Chicago. Key themes were:
- AI as a force multiplier: While AI is good at prototyping and experimenting rapidly, Drupal remains the essential foundation for building secure, durable, and structured systems that last. At the same time the role of agencies is changing, while AI also gives individual contributors immensely more power.
- New marketplace and site templates: Pre-configured starting points with a visual look and relevant sample content that allow users to launch professional, use-case-specific websites almost instantly.
- Updated Context Control Center: A centralized hub that stores organizational knowledge to ensure AI-generated content remains consistent with brand guidelines and factual truth.
