Our speakers represent the full diversity of Drupal, from developers and designers to marketers, editors, executives, and community organizers. Your knowledge plays a vital role in Drupal’s continued growth and success, and speaking at DrupalCon is a powerful way to raise your visibility and establish yourself as a thought leader.
DrupalCon’s overall programming now encompasses many conferences in one, and the conference you participate in depends on who you are and how your role uses Drupal.
You are free to submit a session to any track, but, obviously, you have a much better chance of your session being accepted if it is in a track relevant to the session's main topic. We may consult with you to move your session from one track to another.

- Session (45 minutes)
A session lasting 45 minutes allows for a more in-depth exploration of a topic, offering the opportunity to present a detailed case study, research findings, or an innovative approach. These sessions include one main speaker and optional co-speakers. - Session (20 minutes)
A session lasting 20 minutes, delivered by one main speaker with the option to include co-speakers. These concise talks are perfect for sharing focused insights, specific ideas, or innovative solutions. - Workshop (45 or 45x2 minutes)
A workshop is a session where participants engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and practical exercises to learn and develop specific skills. Facilitated by an expert, workshops are designed to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and experiential learning within a focused timeframe. They provide a practical and immersive environment for skill-building and knowledge acquisition. - Panel (45 minutes)
A panel discussion features a group of individuals with diverse perspectives discussing a specific topic or issue. Each panelist shares insights, answers questions, and engages in conversation, providing a well-rounded exploration of the subject. A moderator facilitates the discussion, ensuring a dynamic and informative exchange of ideas.

Free registration to the conference
Although we do not financially compensate speakers for preparing a session submission or presenting a session, we are pleased to offer one complimentary DrupalCon ticket per selected session. As a speaker, you will receive free access to all conference sessions, workshops, and activities, allowing you to fully engage with the Drupal community.
Please note that only one free ticket is provided per session, regardless of the number of speakers. The complimentary ticket is not transferable and cannot be assigned to another person. If a selected speaker holds multiple roles at the event, only one complimentary ticket will be granted.
Speakers are responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation expenses related to attending the conference.
Promotion as a speaker

Before submitting a session, we recommend that you read the following information:

Familiarize yourself with the conference Code of Conduct. All speakers must adhere to this code

Read and agree to our Speaker Agreement

During the review process, we may request you to submit additional information about your session to ensure a more thorough evaluation

The independent working committee will review your submission to ensure that your profile complies with the speaker agreement and code of conduct
The Drupal Association reserves the right to add sessions and/or speakers that are topical and part of the organization's strategic direction.
