DrupalCon Lille 2023 is happening in October at Lille Grand Palais and we are reaching out for volunteers to support the on-site event. We are excited to be back with in-person format this year, having plenty of volunteering opportunities which include communication, track planning, onsite coordination of sessions and much more to run a great event. What Do You Get in Return

In easy words, you get a chance to contribute to the major European Drupal event of the year. It is important for the whole Drupal community and all effort is deeply valued and appreciated. We are aware that these individuals and companies should get more visibility because they actually are the biggest sponsors.

Nobody goes back empty handed, we have something for everyone! To all those who will be volunteering during the event, we will be providing a volunteer t-shirt and drupal.org credits for all the tasks they do.

How Can You Help

We are aware that many people cannot contribute full time, therefore, we build our success on more people taking over smaller tasks with a focus on great teamwork. We are looking for volunteers for:

  • Session Monitor – You want to provide live support during the event to speakers and attendees.
  • Exhibition Monitor & preparation - Oversee exhibition and make sure that everything runs smoothly at "open stage" or "power up corner"
  • PhotoBooth - Supports the smooth operation of photobooths at DrupalCon, ensuring a delightful experience for attendees
  • Contribution Monitor – You want to assist, inspire, enable, and encourage new or aspiring contributors.
  • Registration Assistant -  You will be the first one who great attendees, give them badge, T-shirt, giveaways and etc.  
  • Trivia Night - Help us to organize the traditional pub quizzes event, we are looking for runners,  data entry and  judges .
  • Signage Assistant - Help organizers  to place signage within the venue. 
  • Photography Team - Take pictures during the event and make sure to capture all the key moments following the lead's advise and brief photo
  • Other Role – You think you can help DrupalCon with other skills? Let us know your ideas.
