Sustainability has become an increasingly important topic in today's world and goes beyond environmental concerns – includes social and economic dimensions. DrupaCon Lille 2023 Organizers are committed to deliver more sustainable conference with positive impact to everyone. We are happy to partner with Terra Verde who supports us towards our sustainable mission.

What we do towards the sustainability?
By taking these actions, we can contribute to a more sustainable and responsible Conference that not only benefits the environment but also sets a positive example for attendees and the event industry.
- Lille Grand Palais as a venue with strong sustainability practices which easily accessible for participants
- Catering with only vegetarian & organic options which are locally sourced
- Co-operation with local suppliers and partners
- Reducing production of conferences materials and printing
- Digitalize where possible
- If not possible, choosing high quality products and/or from recyclable materials
- Discussion with Sponsors and Exhibitors how to contribute towards our sustainability mission
- Calculate the conference's carbon to be able optimize for upcoming DrupalCons Europe
We all hold a special place in our hearts for our official DrupalCon T-shirts. How many of these shirts do you have at home, each a fond reminder of the incredible times you have had at DrupalCons in Prague, Amsterdam, and more?
This year, we are continuing the tradition by providing you with your DrupalCon Lille 2023 T-shirt at the Acquia stand. But we would also like to start a new tradition, one that supports those in need. We have partnered with local charities that collect and distribute clothing to individuals who may not afford it.
How can you help? It's simple. Bring along an extra T-shirt (any undamaged T-shirt) and drop it in the box at the registration area. We will take care of the rest! Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Our beloved mascot, LiL'Rooster, has embarked on an incredible journey this year, making appearances at local camps and events. From the Warm Up tour to meeting our US fellows at DrupalCon Pittsburgh, he's been spreading Drupal love far and wide.
Now, LiL'Rooster can't wait to meet you all at DrupalCon Lille! As LiL'Rooster's journey comes to an end, we are seeking a loving home to retire our beloved mascot. Would you like to take home the DrupalCon Lille 2023 mascot and support a noble cause? Join us in Lille for an auction, marking this farewell event as truly special.
The auction will kick off at the Opening Ceremony, and you will be able to participate via the mobile app anytime before Thursday 19th October at 15:00 CEST. The highest bidder will have the privilege to choose from five pre-selected charities where the proceeds will be donated.
We understand that attending sessions and diving into Drupal code can be demanding. That is why we have dedicated a special space just for conference attendees. Join us at the Wellness area in the exhibition area, where you can indulge in an on-demand massage retreat.
