SafetyRegulations

On the 13th of October 2023, the French authorities raised the country to the highest alert level following the recent attack in Arras, which tragically claimed the life of a French teacher. We want to emphasize that there is currently no immediate cause for concern, and we are not aware of any specific threats that could affect DrupalCon and its attendees.

In close collaboration with the Lille Grand Palais venue, we are actively monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of all participants, both inside and outside the venue. To this end, the following security measures will be implemented:

  • Enhanced Global Security
  • Systematic Visual Inspections at Entrance Doors, including bag checks and examination of personal belongings
  • Security Screening, which may involve requests to inspect luggage
  • Ongoing Police Presence in the vicinity of the venue
  • No cloakroom services on Friday (Contribution Day)

Should there be any updates or changes in security measures announced by the French authorities, we will promptly communicate and take appropriate actions.

Reminder: Conference name badge must be worn at all times during conference activities. The badge is required for admission to sessions and social activities that are included as part of your registration. Admission will be denied to anyone not wearing their name badge.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. Your safety and peace of mind are of the utmost importance to us.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work diligently to ensure that DrupalCon Lille 2023 remains not only informative and enjoyable but also the most secure event possible.
