We provide Drupal-tools and services for citizen participation. 125.000 users in Belgium, Spain, The Netherlands, France the UK have participated in over 200 participation projects.
Participants are from over 100 cities and municipalities amongst whom Brussels, Antwerp, Bilbao, Santander, Eindhoven, Edinburgh, Ile-de-France.
Many of the projects are about improving life in the city: mobility, green, sound, water, quality of life. We used very often maps and plans where people could indicate points where it is dangerous or there is another problem and also points where they suggest a solution. We collected over 1.2 million answers and about 60.000 points on maps. We did 95% of this with custom modules in Webform. So far we only provided this through our own instance as a service. We want to provide the 8 years of experience with maps in Drupal to partners in the Drupal community, learning together how we can make people collaborate even more with the Webform modules we built.
