For about 10 years now, the Splash Awards have been held to honor the best Drupal projects in different countries around the world. It all started with an idea in the Netherlands - but soon other countries followed and now organize their own Splash Awards - like Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Romania and the USA.
As a member of the German organizing committee, I want to share my experience and exchange ideas to motivate local Drupal communities to join the movement and host their own Splash Awards.
