Local Drupal Regions & Associations Round Table

Local Drupal Regions & Associations Round Table

Baddy Sonja Breidert (Baddysonja), Imre Gmelig Meijling (imre-gmelig-meijling), Drupal Association

There are many great local Drupal initiatives happening around the world. Local Drupal communities support Drupal by bringing people together to exchange ideas. And to celebrate the wonderful things people do with Drupal everyday.

The Drupal community relies on people exercising their passion and contributing their time and effort, often voluntarily. This often makes it hard to maintain a local community, organize events, collaborate and promote Drupal to a wider audience.

Local communities face challenges in finding people and resources, setting up a local association, do Drupal marketing and many other things to support the project locally.

The Local Associations Round Table offers a way for local Drupal associations and Drupal regionleads to meet and exchange impediments, ideas, learnings and best practices. The Round Table proves to be a valuable session for local Drupal communities to help each other and spark new ideas. An open meeting to share insights on how to get going with finding new members, setting up local marketing and setting up a local partner program and generate a revenue stream. Templates, code and playbooks are also shared.

The Local Association Round Table will be held at DrupalCon Lille 2023 and all local Drupal Associations and region leads are invited. If you need help in growing your local Drupal community or if you want to share your best practices and inspire other local Drupal communities, please come. Prepare beforehand and bring your most pressing question or most practical contribution to share to the table!

The meeting will be attended by the Drupal Association.
Baddy Sonja Breidert and Imre Gmelig Meijling will be hosting the session.
