The Women in Drupal Award, sponsored by Jakala, celebrates the women making a difference across the Drupal ecosystem.
Now in its fifth year, the award recognises individuals whose talent, leadership, creativity, and commitment help strengthen the Drupal community and shape its future.
We know that impact comes in many forms. Whether someone is writing code, leading teams, designing experiences, growing businesses, mentoring others, organising events, contributing to open source, or championing inclusion, their work deserves recognition.
The award is open to women from across the Drupal community, including:
This list is not exhaustive. If someone has made a meaningful contribution to Drupal, the community, or the wider open-source ecosystem, we’d love to hear about them.
By nominating someone, you’re helping to celebrate their achievements, amplify their contributions, and inspire others across the community.
Whether they’ve delivered exceptional work, supported others through mentorship, helped grow the community, or consistently gone above and beyond, your nomination helps ensure their impact is recognised.
Nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges drawn from across the Drupal community and previous award winners.
Judges will consider the nominee’s overall contribution, impact, leadership, and commitment to the Drupal ecosystem.
The Women in Drupal Award Jury consists of members of the Drupal Association, winners from last year and the creator of the award, JAKALA:
