Health and Safety Recommendations

DrupalCon Barcelona 2024 will be held in-person at the International Barcelona Convention Center (CCIB) from 24-27 September.

DrupalCon is a global event that places a high priority on the safety of all participants, including attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, speakers, and volunteers. We have learned valuable lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing the importance of accommodating diverse safety preferences. Our safety policies are designed to align with the requirements of our venue and the health and safety regulations outlined by the Spanish Ministry of Health.

Here are important considerations for exhibitors, sponsors, partners, speakers, and attendees:

Attendance Guidelines:

  • Individuals are advised not to attend the event if they are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of a contagious disease, defined by the the World Health Organization (WHO).
  • We encourage all participants to show respect for others and contribute to fostering a safe conference environment, regardless of individual or regional safety mandates. This approach will help ensure compliance with travel requirements and guidelines.

Travel plans:

  • Anyone planning to attend DrupalCon should carefully review the travel guidelines provided by the Spanish Ministry of Health, as well as to follow the travel recommendations issued by your local health authority when traveling between countries.

By adhering to these guidelines and recommendations, we can collectively prioritize the health and safety of everyone involved in DrupalCon. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact our Organizing Secretariat.

Thank you for helping us ensure the safety and well-being of everyone at DrupalCon Barcelona.
