We are seeking volunteers to mentor new contributors during DrupalCon Barcelona 2024, from 24 to 27 September.
At Drupal events around the world, Mentored Core Contribution typically takes place in a collaborative space with many round tables, allowing for groups to collaborate while using their own laptops - and knowledge. Mentors will guide 3 to 6 contributors. Topics depend on the interests of mentors and mentees. Organizers will work to match up mentor/mentee areas of focus in such a way as to maximize success.
You do not have to be a coder to be a mentor. Non-coders are welcome as mentors for first-time contributors, focusing on initiatives like Project Browser, Bug Smash, documentation, UX/UI and accessibility testing, design, and many more.
Mentors assist with setting up development environments, finding tasks, and collaborating on issues. Attend our Mentor Orientations and Issue Queue triage sessions for preparation. Join us in making DrupalCon a success!
How can you help?

What’s in it for you?
First is the feeling you get when you help someone contribute to the most dynamic CMS on the planet. Mentors will receive contribution credit on Drupal.org, which can be used to help promote your skills and dedication to having a more inclusive web.
