Ubercart and Drupal commerce are two famous alternate solutions to get your ecommerce store settled up very quickly in Drupal.

Ubercart has been heavily used for e-commerce setups by Drupal, but it's support has been deprecated after Drupal 7

Key differences between Ubercart and Drupal Commerce: Without taking lot of time here, I would like to share the scenario on choosing Drupal commerce v/s ubercart or vice-versa.

When to Choose Drupal Commerce :
- you want to build a merchant portal (marketplace). It has support to add multiple stores.
- You have a basic apparel store
- You want to have a big basket type of store. It supports adding different types of Product types

And Ubercart :
- For new websites, I wouldn't recommend ?
- But what if you have a store that sells one product in 100's of variations ? Would you setup each variation as separate entry ?
Examples :
: one website selling one stole in multiple colors, sizes, styles etc. And you need to have different SKU for tracking this data but same price.
: Second example : an ecomm store for online catering that let customers select the different options from available set of attributes to customise the meal?
