The Drupal Admin UI Redesign is a core initiative that many volunteers have worked on over the past year. In this session, we’ll tell the story behind the design process, starting with the research that informed the design, the problems we had to solve, the challenges the team faced, and share ideas that didn’t make the cut. We’ll discuss:
- creating a flexible and scalable toolbar
- introducing new design elements
- approaches around collaborating with a rotating
team of design contributors
- reconfiguring the layout for a user-centered design

We’ll share our design and research journey, touch on where we are now, and discuss what is next for the Drupal Admin UI Redesign initiative.
